July 1st marks the starts of Florida’s favorite time of year… hurricane season. All jokes aside, hurricanes can be detrimental to both homes and communities. A Category 1 hurricane, the lowest ranking and least lethal ranking, will still produce winds of up to 95 miles per hour. Needless to say, it can do more than just take down a few branches and causes large waves. It can destroy your home. That being said, it is incredibly important to be prepared for hurricane season.
