The upward trend in inventory appears to be stabilizing in Manatee County. The market is still hotter at the lower end than the top end, pushing the median sale price down. However, it appears that the future market for at least next few months (our traditionally slower season) will look a lot like the market we have now. Florida’s real estate market for single-family homes and condominiums is experiencing a slowdown in sales and a dip in prices. However, this is not indicative of a market crash to date. The current conditions follow the post-COVID housing surge, which drove demand and prices sharply upward, pricing out many would-be buyers.
